richloom fabrics group grabs bags

Hey look! The gals from Richloom Fabrics Group stopped by the Colorep® booth at HD Expo. They each picked up one of our great bags full of swag. Of course the bags were dyed and decorated using AirDye® technology, saving over 2 gallons of water for every bag we handed out. And just ask anyone who was in Las Vegas, these bags were one hot item.

We couldn’t be happier to see well-known designers embrace AirDye® and incorporate sustainable technologies into their offerings. Last week at the HD Expo in Las Vegas, we admired Stacy Garcia’s rich upholstery and prints designs—a proven favorite in the hospitality industry. Her work can be found at many properties, including Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort and Spa in Honolulu, and in Mexico at the Club Regina.

Here Stacy shows David Gelbaum one of her newest creations—a mesh fabric (also used in the curtain on the back wall). The panel has contrasting dye on each side that creates a magical, shimmering effect. David Gelbaum, of the Quercus Trust, is one of the leading clean-tech investors and a recent addition to the Colorep® board of directors.

And Bonnie Julian can’t miss an opportunity to give out some AirDye love to Tony Riggio, Richloom’s vice president of Contract and Hospitality.
